these days that seem to fade to grey
then state your pain when you ask me to stay
i can see in your face that longing gaze
when you say your ok i know its just a charade
and i hate to say i must leave today
its just these games you play you seem to prey
and all these days that fade to grey
seem to suffocate me like a citizen of pompey
