theres a war goin on, in quiet homes
buildings explode, with tempers flarin from parents and folks

suburbian homes, get interupted when words float
when kids are cussin their dads or moms, leavin em notes

to let them know how they feel
expression thru music, is what they know

either its metal, rap or emotional tones
that gets flowin thru the veins of kids sittin alone

in a dark room, blarin their head phones
their ears are droned to sound of music, to make em feel at home

when they feel alone, like nobody cares
or dares to step inside their rooms, like their prayin a silent prayer

as they sit on their bed, lookin at the wall with an empty stare
so they dress like the bands, paint their face, and do up their hair

so this is just an expression, this is the generation
let us hold up our signs up, and be with the music were facin

well it was a nice verse for a poem because of the detailed but stretched lines...but his rap was thorough all the way through
