Incarceration

Freedom? Once upon a time but now the bars replaced it,
It's hard to make it when each and everyday I live incarcerated.
Charged with rape, shit, these cards I'm dealt are hard to play with,
I'm scarred and shaken but yet my hope and will are far from breaking.
Sitting in my cell with patience I sharpen my shank in preparation,
Do I make the first move or keep waiting? I'm still debating...
My anxiety's elevating meanwhile some gang starts creeping up,
Nigga say, "Ya mouth, KEEP IT SHUT, by the way I need ya stuff."
The first guy to reach gets cut, falls the the floor starts bleeding guts,
I scream, "FUCK WITH ME YA DONE!" Rest of the crew flees "n runs.
Established a name with the brutal deed, just the fuel I'd need,
To make it inside the walls because what you can bruise you lead.
Started making dough and assembled a crew for my endevours,
Marketing drugs and cigarettes in exchange to protect, kinda clever.
Severed the pockets of many, took 80% off every fuckin' penny,
Knockout any cat who would look at me wrong or lost his steady.
Five years later the day had arrived, no more delays to provide,
Outlasted my sentence in the joint and did more than make it alive.
I felt praised and revived as my boy picked me up in this shady ass ride,
Went to the liquor store for supplies and apparantly to take what's inside.
Smashed in the door then proceeded to advance and grab cash from the drawer,
Looked at the girl asked her for more, got denied so we blasted the whore.
The chase begins, sirens flash as we blast back suddenly the ride will end,
Blocked off at the intersection I should've guessed it, sentenced for 5-10...

It's a simple flo... average story line.. hard pressed to find something that stuck out..might be nice to some metophorical thoughts in there, some comparisons and twists to send the joint to another level. As it looks, it's pretty basic...
