I've made and make a lot of friends, lot of enemies
saw and see both hit and crawl like centipedes
escape was something I wish and used to wish
my speech obviously tells, I've been through some shit
it may be plain and simple, not much embellishment
few loved and love me, ugly story when I'm tellin' it
when thinkin' for words, it can be easy to forget pretty
and blissful when things got and still can get shitty
nothing left now but keep the money and hate exchangin'
I see things never have, aren't, and won't ever be changin'
music is hope, but prayer was bizarre you see
cause I've seen how that's worked out so far for me
I seen before, I'll still live through the same endeavors
I don't know, but I guess life will stay the same forever

Thanks for the feed. As far as the longer bars, whenever I write I just go by the mental metronome I have, and I just come up with this end result, but I'll definitely try and work on what you're talking about.

yeah just maybe the bars need to be a lil longer but that dont really matter cus this was dope the lines just seem to be from the heart really put thought into this ish and it shows mayne very nice job

I think that's the biggest difference between text and audio... when on the mic, it's a little more difficult to spit 20 words a line... but when you break it down to 10-15, it's much more managable to fit in. I liked the tempo personally.
