Hip hop is a soap opera, what happened to show stoppaz
that flow proper and rhyme cyphaz that hype the whole block up?
It's gone, now they all about they imaginary techs
the escalade, the lex, and the chick that's oversexed....
The ex gettin' vexed, diseased after effects
And the fatherless child who was never taught to come correct......
or make the connect between education and elevation
Instead he strongarmed and left cats dead on the pavement
Adjacent to the playground, like "Everybody Lay Down"
Run the jewels the cash and the stash or he gon spray rounds
And he did bust just for material lust
it ain't safe, lookin' ova my shoulda.....who can I trust?
They smile and say wassup but they got cruel intentions
know the difference between business and true friendship
and hold your weapons close to take these snakes to war
cuz their idea of how to get theirs is by taking yours.
