Radio Personality Fatman Scoop To Drop Album and TV Show

Post by Conspiracy »

Radio Personality Fatman Scoop, aka Big Colorado, is set to release his first solo album and a syndicated/joint venture/talk radio/television show with his wife.

Scoop's debut album titled, In The Club Vol. 1, is set to drop early 2007 on his own AV8FM record label. The album includes guest appearances by Ying Yang Twins, Elephant Man, Youngbloods, MOP and many more.

"I am working on taking my career to the next level. I am known for taking other people's records and remixing them, now I am working on my own!!!" says Scoop of the new album via a press release.

Scooop, who was made famous by screaming such anthem phrases as, "You got a 50 dollar bill get ya hands up" and "Let's go now! Let's go now! Single ladies, I can't hear you," was featured on singles such as "It's Like That" by Mariah Carey and "Lose Control" by Missy Elliot, for which he also won two Grammy's. The first single off of Vol. 1, "U Sexy Girl" featuring Elephant Man has already saturated the urban club scene and has begun climbing the radio charts.

In addition to holding down his own radio show for over 10 years on top New York radio station WQHT (Hot 97), the Colorado is working on a syndicated talk show and a joint venture talk radio/television show with his wife. "Man And Wife, came about as a result of all the conversations we would have while we were in bed watching TV or just talking to each other before we go to sleep," said Scoop. "I was looking for a female host to do a relationship show like this and couldn't find anyone! It was crazy, the perfect person was right in my face the whole time!!! The show will break new grounds as the first of it's kind in the hip hop genre with an actual married couple dedicating a series to discussing sex, relationships and of course HIP HOP!"

In the past, Scoop has collaborated or been featured alongside music artists and producers such as Missy Elliot, Timberland, BabyFace, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, Sean Paul, Ciara, Elephant Man, Nina Sky, Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull, Faith Evans, Nick Canon and more.
