Favourite Book?

Post by Brah-Vo »

Im sure most of you read.

Mine would have to be Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami.
Contemporary Japanese inter surrealism and social commentary with sex, pretty much.

How about you guyses?

a Clockwork Orange By Anthony Burgess (im Sure Many Have Seen The Movie).

Deeply Satirical Author's Predictions Of a Dystopian Future (it Was Written in 1962, This Period Of Time Where The Younger Generation Were Growing Their Hair, Dropping Acid And Doing Other 'Rebellious' Things) With a Very Powerful Message Behind it That's Often Overlooked By Average Joe Just Watching The Movie To See Violence And Rape.

im Not Gnna Ruin it For Anyone Lol.

Anything by Vince Flynn. I like them paramilitary/espionage stories. Reading Clancy's Without Remorse right now. Um, finished Generation Kill, which HBO did a miniseries for, which I also have lol. Pretty sweet, one of the best tellings of Operation Iraqi Freedom that I've encountered. I plan on doing some research and reading some novels about the Holocaust. I'm a big fan of WWII as well. Dante's Inferno / Divine Comedy was a nice read, I love his description of Hell. Also, Machiavelli's The Prince and Sun Tzu's The Art Of War are good reads.

The Eagerness Is Putrid My Fluids Acid Leaves You Vexed Like Black Holes
Your Inept To Correct Stretched Like Fat Folds Perplexed Like Castro
I'm So Tenacious With Rhymes Sensatious So Patient With Lines
While You Fill Your Writtens With Filler And So Stay Vacant In Mind
I'm Amiable But Too Your Haters I Appease Your Arcane Admissions
Dark Games No Vision Your Avarice Lead To Scarred Shamed Partitions
So Callous In His Candor You Have To Coerce For Neglect
For Worse Or For Best I'm Confidant With A Verse Of Respect
