More like stretched, which I would agree with you, for instance that first bar.

I don't see anything wrong with you stating that in the battle, so he knows your complete opinion and not just who you are voting for, but he disagrees, I guess.

Because there are two sides to the coin when it comes to nameplay/wordplay. You want to be creative, puns or plays on words in general are connecting seemingly unconnected, previously unthought of ideas while making a lucid and clever statement.

Like a bad pun can be perceived as a compliment if you say that to somebody because puns can be so ridiculous when thought clearly about.

text battling and live battlin' are two different things...

if you battle live, you are gonna incorporate what you think is appropriate in that arena, to an online text battle field, which is why you see these verses as "forced" or arkwardly done, as they wouldnt work when spittin' in real life.

however, when writing in text, it's all about reading, not listenin'.. which alters the rules of what should be written, so breakin' text down and coming up with "stretched" concepts is acceptible...

i also believe some people DO, come with concepts that are too stretched and forced (Not rell)... and i've personally had to change styles to fit in on the site, to a more lengthened line length with focus on different aspects on battlin'..

if u Are Good Enough With Tone And Expression Then The Wordplays Would Explain Themselves in a Live Battle. The Same Way as Quoting Them in a Text Battle Does. They Are Two Completely Different Environments as Body Language And Tone Take Up The Most Percentage On The Communication Spectrum.

Never Compare The Two, Because if u Watch Closely Enough You'll See That Tone And Body Language Are Prominent And important in Live Battles. There Are Plenty Of 'Rule Changes'.
