50 Cent Drops The Bomb On Diddy

Post by Conspiracy »

In the past 50 Cent has lyrically attacked notable hip hop names like Lil' Kim, Ja Rule, Jadakiss, Cassidy, Fat Joe and the Game. This time around, however, he's going at none other than Diddy himself.

Late last week the G-Unit general slipped New York City-based Hot 97 DJ Kay Slay a track called "The Bomb," which directly calls out the hip hop mogul.

Clearly angered by Diddy's refusal to relinquish the contractual rights of rapper Mase from Bad Boy, "The Bomb" has 50 rhyming rapidly, drawing shades of the sound from his 1999 debut album, Power of the Dollar.

With an extremely menacing tone 50 jumps on "The Bomb" track by boasting, "Nigga, I run hip hop, hip hop, hip hop, hip hop, G-Unit is hip hop, hip hop, hip hop, hop."

50 also shockingly slings: "Who shot Biggie Smalls? If we don't get them they're gonna kill us all. Man, Puffy know who hit that nigga, man, that nigga saw him. He's scared 'dem boys from the West Side will break him off / Jump on his ass / So he run to Harlem to shake 'em off."

While a hyped Kay Slay yelled in the background, "It's happening. It's happening. Ring the alarm!" over the instrumental, 'Fif shelled out more venom to shut down the track. "I guess this means I won't be invited to the White parties in the Hamptons," said Curtis 'Billion Dollar Budget' Jackson, in his regular speaking tone, as the beat rode out. "I don't give a fuck. I don't want to hang out with your punk ass anyway. You got me running around this nigga Mase. You wanna play games? You don't want to make the deal, nigga? I'll fuck your sh—up, nigga!"

Before ending the track 50 tells Diddy the adage of time is money and he wasted his time. 'Fif also warns that he has a secret about Diddy, that he knows he wouldn't want to be put out.

Ironically, Diddy has been one of 50's biggest supporters in the past. In 2003, when 50 became a household name with his smash album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin,'" Diddy told MTV News that every once in a while a rapper comes along that puts hip hop on its back and right now it's 50.

While Diddy hasn't made an official on-the-record statement regarding 50's "The Bomb" track, Internet message boards have been buzzing that perhaps Bad Boy's head honcho has already subliminally responded via his new album, "Press Play."

"It only gets stronger. It only gets more intense. All the pressure is on your neck. So Bad Boy, I'm richer bitch!" says Diddy on the intro to his album, with words that may have been said to get under 50's skin.

Despite this latest track from 50, Diddy is no stranger to controversy when it comes to contracts. Just earlier in the year, the Lox, formerly of Bad Boy, argued with Diddy live on the air on Hot 97 about their publishing rights. Since then, Diddy and the Lox reached an amicable agreement. Time will tell just how Diddy handles this situation with the often volatile 50 Cent.
