New Rule as of Sept. 9th 2008

Due to lack of feed and people complaining that their not getting feed even when they leave other people feed. Here's another rule that'll be enforced...

Before you can get feed, you must feed atleast two other members drops and place the link in your thread as proof. If not...your thread will be closed until you leave feed and notify an admin that you've done so, that way we can re-open your thread for active feed.

So now the up to date rules are:

-Only 1 drop allowed per week in the Creation Chamber

-Must feed atleast two other members drops and link them in your thread

This should hopefully help increase feed for others and keep activity steady. Thank you for your time and understanding.

if you have to feed on two other peoples ish.. wouldnt that enable you to drop more than one audio a week??

overegulation just discourages activity, i say this everytime somebody trys to decide to make up some new rule that they think will help

more rules = more annoyances = less activity

the activity flow as-is has been better than its been in a long time adding a new regulation'll just throw a wrench in the works

you don't gotta set strict rules everything will work itself naturally if somebody doesn't leave feed they're not likely to get feed so they'll probably start feeding if they want feedback, if somebody posts a bunch of tracks in a short period of time chances are 90% of them will be ignored so they'll probably re-adjust and wait longer between threads

obviously the extremes need to be regulated (if somebody floods the section with all their music etc.) but otherwise shit like this is anti-productive, it has never worked and never will work i say this every time and nobody ever gets it they'll defend their rule and then enforce their rule for a month or so then lose interest and eventually nobody enforces the rule and nobody follows the rule anymore and things just revert back to how they were before

Alright fine. I think you just don't like rules! Seeing how the audio area is starting to become more active with drops but recieve less feed...I just thought this would be a more organized way of of getting the feed in from active users.

Because I watch quite a few users drop shit in the chamber and then not feed anybodies elses shit...but then they IM/PM mutha fuckas and all sorts of shit to check their shit when they drop sumthin. Atleast in this example...I'm an active user. I drop almost every week. With a rule like this in effect...before I can even drop my work, I have to leave thought on atleast 2 other peoples. So that way atleast they get feed...and then I can almost expect the same courtesy when someone wants to drop. A year ago we barely had any audio emcee's...but I would get 15-20-25 bits of feed....and now it's more active than ever and I get what...3-6-10 tops!

The feed is hurting here and I just want it to be fair for active users. But if you honestly feel that the rule is rediculous...then I'll junk it. But at somepoint...someone's gotta handle it cuz i don't see this working itself out.
