This was a lil sumthin I threw together real quick this week that just skims back a few notches into my past as a kid and mixes in some of my personal feelings then and now! Just threw this together for fun on my free-time this week...my nigga Jesus on the production boards ofcourse! Let us know what'cha think of the track overall and the production.

but kurse....i dont know what to say.
like its not the i dont like it. its the fact that im gettin bored listening to ya.im not beefin or ne thing. but i dk. every time i hear ya tracks. it just seems like the same old kurse.same voice. same flow (for the most part hard to explain tho). i dk im just gettin really bored with ya tracks.

I'm an emcee! Not a vantriliquist! All artists have a voice that seperates them from the other. When you hear 50...you know it's 50. Same wit Kanye. When you hear Kanye, then you know it's Kanye. Weezy...like him or not, when u hear him on a song, you just know it's him! Well why do I need to be different. If I sounded different on every track (or had a different voice on every song as you say)...then Kurse just wouldn't have a VOICE!

So when you say that, honestly it just sounds kinda dumb. I change up the flow on sum tracks...but my voice and my style are just the articles that make me who I am as an artist. If I changed my voice and swagga on every track...then I wouldn't have an identity. Think about it.

i know what your saying.But like i dont know. maybe its not your "voice" your presence on the mic maybe? when i hear a RB track i wanna hear that pain that your feelin or w.e it is.When i hear a Diss track.a serous one i wanna hear that aggression. i guess thats what it is. its the same emotion on every track. atleast thats the way it sounds. Like viral. i love listening to him but same you i get bored with it because the emotion seems the same. i dont even know if emotion is the word for it. but i want to feel what ever you want me to feel. I wanna feel the pain and sorrow that you feel i wanna feel the anger that you do.

What ur sayin is that he's got bad delivery... I don't agree, pure and simple

In fact his voice fits these types of tracks, deep and mellow - unlike Viral who's sounding like he's just fuckin around on tracks, like he's relaxed or sth.. lol.. but these are only characteristics which creates the artist - like Kurse stated in his post, but i respect your opinion.. no hard feelings, just suggesting that u should say u don't like a guy due to his voice (to be honest with u, i thought a lil bit the same when i heard Kurse for the first time, but then i started listening to the artist.. that changed perspectives of things)

Well I definately appreciate your thoughts and critisism on it all. I've only been doin music for goin onto 4 years now...writing for maybe about 6 and a half. So really I haven't been doin this for a long time...but no matter if I'm a seasoned vet or a rookie...I think that no matter what stage ur at, you'll always have room for growth and improvement.

Really at the end of high school I still had no idea what to do with myself. Kinda felt like a floater. But when I discovered writing...it was like damn...I didn't wanna do anything else in life but that. It took me a while, but atleast I can say I'm doin what I absolutely love.

I'm just glad that all of you take a moment out of ur days to check it out, and let me know what you think I did right and what I did wrong. So I always take into account what you guys say and absorb it for what it is because in the end it'll just make me more well-rounded.

I feel you Haz...I was in those shoes at one point and shit just gets crazier as time goes on unless you get a grasp of what you're searching for.

Right outta high school I was out and about doing stupid shit, and I got popped off. It was just my time I guess cuz luck don't last forever. I remember I was in and out of court for years and the longer it carried on...the more overwhelming it got. One day I came across this judge that just wasn't hearing it and decided that he was gonna make an example out of me and locked me up straight from court. I lost a great payin job...hell. lost a few things.

So it wasn't till after August 3rd of 2001 when my sentence was finally served, that I wrote my first song. And shit'z been a roller-coaster since then! Our enviornment helps build who we are...but it's ur passion that'll push you the rest of the way after that. So while ur still a young buck...organize ur ideas and figure out ur game-plan! You'll be glad you did.

As for all of us on illest here...we all offer various styles and swagga when we hit the mic! I'm just glad to see more niggaz steppin up audio-wise instead of stayin glued to text! It definately brings more attention to the site, ya know!? And shit...while we're on it and niggaz are uppin they game...we still need to do that big-ass site collab wit all the audio artists from illest on dat shit!

It was a good intro

wish you made this sentence one word shorter for flows sake

amazing verse. good emotion and delivery.

you shouldn't have stretched the word 'get', for flows sake

3rd verse

i didnt like the ending , it sounded forced.

the chorus is amazing

One of your best tracks.
I know what dead silence is saying. He's right. Some of your tracks are emotionless. And they sound forced. Like you picked a random topic and rapped about it without really 'feeling' it.
But in this track you can feel the emotion.
Good job.
