Fuck the mainstream and anybody being awarded for selling out imho. Giving out awards titled "Best Rap Song" then excluding 99% of the industry that actually has talent is pure bullshit.

I can name 20 artists quicky off the top of my head that completely dominate any and every "hip hop artist" invited to that sorry excuse of an award show. They might as well change the name to the "I Do What They Tell Me" awards, or "The Hip-Hop Bandwagon" awards, or how about "DJ wrote my beat, but I get all the credit" awards? None of those people deserve shit, aside from a pat on the back for making good financial decisions. People who deserve credit for their rap/hiphop talent are far from lip-syncing in front of 100,000 celebrities and 6 million media whores. That's called marketing, not music.
