Soulja boys music is trash, but he's hustling. I don't like country music, but I'm not gunna knock Garth Brooks hustle.

And its not just Soulja Boy. Thats a fucking ridiculous claim. So Laffy Taffy was great for hip hop? or the other slew of bullshit that was ruining hip hop BEFORE soulja boy? the fuck outta here...

Plus, Ice T is like 40, telling a 17 yr old to eat a dick. He's just bitter cause he's irrelevant.

and HAHAH @ him saying "your messing up hip hop" like Ice T was some type of lyrical cat, all about the music. He was a fucking pimp that got into music for a quick buck. So his "disgust" at Soulja Boy ruining the "purity" of the "art form" is fucking laughable.

I think Soulja Boy is right. Ice-T really should be ashamed telling a 17 year old kid to eat a dick because Ice-T really is irrelevant. Don't knock someone for his hustle, I don't like Soulja Boy, but dudes right in this case.

Soulja Boy flat out said "Help us then, if you think hip hops dead, help us improve" and instead he's telling children to "Eat a dick".

im not an "old school" hip hop head, i have no allegiances to like, the people who started it, like some people i know wont touch post 90's rap/ hip hop, or most of it, just cause it aint "as good", but i aint like that, if you doing you, and its selling, then fair enough

Ice T's time has past, he right to have an opinion, but to blame soulja boy for hip hop dying is pretty stupid, only the hardcore heads (mainly) think its dead, its just changed, now theres more emphasis on catchy, not hard hitting songs.

Soulja boy doing what he has to do, telling it, as real as i know, he could be lying, but just the way it is lol, he seem true, so if he coming out of poor surroundings and making it, who is anyone to blame him and tell him he's wrong
