The mother of Eminem, Debbie Nelson, is being sued by Neal Alpert of Birmingham and Rachel Erin Corporation, who claim they helped Nelson put together a "tell-all" book and were then cut out of the deal.
Alpert claims in the suit filed in Oakland Circuit Court, Michigan, that Nelson, Annette Witheridge, and publisher Watson, Little, Ltd. put together "My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem: Setting the Record Straight on My Life as Eminem's Mother" behind his back, after agreeing to let Alpert act as her exclusive agent.
"As her agent, he was entitled to a percentage of profits but hasn't seen a dime," said Drew Norton, Alpert's attorney.
According to the suit, the book has already seen release in Great Britain, selling roughly 100k copies, but that Alpert has not seen any money.
Debbie Nelson could not be reached for comment.
