Should there be classes and ranks set up..

yes there should be...and it should be determined by quality of writtens/audios too not jst battles..cuz not everyone battles...n u can only go one rank higher or lower to battle someone n shit like dat...

well the people who dont battle shouldn't really be ranked..

as far as the battle system goes.. i think u should only be allowed to battle those people who r in the same class as u.. unless ur champ or second of that class before u can challenge somebody the two lowest of the next higher class

I support the classes. But I don't agree with Viral. Classes should only be for people who battle or want to battle. After all, why would you want a class for writtens or audios?

hes saying people that don't battle often but can write and will accept battles should be ranked off whatever they've submitted to the site

like i haven't battled here in probably 5 months so i probably wouldn't be ranked or placed as beginner so i could just shit on every newbie with easy and get like 10 easy wins

I know what he was saying son but you could write all day if you wanted for a whole year and make audios but it still doesn't mean you're a good battle emcee. So how about you try to go talk shit to someone else.

I think this classes thing is a real bad idea , because it will support inactivity since you wont be able to battle half the people on the forum any more then fuck it why bother....

not really.. the majority of people on this site r about at the same level.. although the only active members r above intermediate such as me complexity viral all killah and precise whenever he decides to check up on things.. not to mention x acute which is fairly active enough... either way.. maybe the reason people actually do stop posting is becuz they're facing people out of their league and get too intimidated to post after an embarassing defeat.. usually those who've lost and never won.. even tho u've lost more than u've won alot of people rn't as determined as u to keep trying

using this system will keep it a little more organized and "fair" for those who r new to the site..

the only "problem" this might cause is making people feel shitty about themselves when they get ranked as a rookie assuming they're better... but then again they can always work their way up to the top with time

i dont see how someone who's getting their ass handed to them in a battle will improve when they seem more likely to improve against someone who's closer to their level of skill

any beef between members can be arranged into battle as long as they both agree so if a rookie really has a problem with someone who's ranked alot higher than we can fix it so that there's a lil more heat on the site..a little beef never hurts..(or does it lol)... n e ways i believe i made myself clear in the most elaborate way possible... to keep it simple.. the system is only to make battling fair...

as far as wat viral mentioned.. as long as u DO battle.. and u havn't been active in the battle sections but still drop writtens and audios n such.. then u still deserve to be ranked in a class...but if u DONT battle.. and have no intention in battling but u drop audios and writtens and post in the cyphers.. then there's no reason to even rank u in the first place.. so wat we'll do is rank those who we know battle for certain and those who we're not sure of.. can spit for rank.. people who've been ranked and think they dont belong in that rank can do the same and spit for rank.. although once u spit for rank and ur ranked.. that's that there's no second chance.. u'll have to work ur way up.. wins and losses will effect ur rankings of course..

any ideas on the names for the classes let me know in a pm.. or in this topic if u must..any suggestions for how the ranking system should be controlled u can also pm or post in here..my idea was to set a certain number of wins to decide whether u move up a class or not.. and maybe for every knockout its considered a win n a half or somethin lke that.. and dq's effect u vice versa

although n e one can win alot.. and still be a shitty battle emcee.. so there wont be none of that.. constant shyt where u battle the same person or two just to gain free wins.. we'll do something where u can only battle them twice and then u have to find a new opponent.. battle them once.. before u can battle that other person again and keep it like that.. no more than 2 repetitive battles in a row..the writtens and audios will effect them as well just not as much.. it'll be done by rates for the writtens...cyphering is just for fun so i wont bother including that into the system

this is all if this goes into effect or not.. vote in the poll.. so far me and viral voted yes.. the other two.. im sure one of them is subsist and someone else voted no.. so lets get the voting in the poll done.. agree or disagree whether this should be passed.

this is somethin i was thinkin about for a while that was done on rapinfluence.com a long time ago, only problem is that the site doesnt have that many people at the moment, so when your put into classes you wont have much of a selection.

but after the ranks are put into place itd be cool, you could keep track of the scores in diff ranks in a thread, and show top emcee in each class, so they can eventually move up a rank

true.. there's not that many active users.. or textcee's in general.. but it'll be a lil more organized and give people another reason to battle some more.. which would be to move up in rank and class and battle for championship of each class..im also of thinking of adding awards for certain things like who's better at beefin.. multi champ and punchline king ect. ect. n e ways just an idea..
