Rap superstar 50 Cent was caught "riding dirty" on Friday afternoon as he drove through Midtown Manhattan in a silver open-topped Lamborghini.

50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, was pulled over by plainclothes officers in an unmarked car at 2 p.m., after he allegedly made an unsafe lane change.

Jackson was then ordered out of his car when officers discovered he was driving with an expired license, without insurance, and without vehicle registration.

Outside the New Yorker Hotel passersby gathered around, snapped photos, and booed police officers as they handcuffed the multi-platinum selling rapper.

The 31-year-old artist was cited for a lane-change violation, the expired license, and the lack of registration at a nearby police station, said Detective Christopher Filippazo.

Jackson was later released when an undisclosed friend showed up with proof of vehicle ownership.

The minor traffic offenses could cost him as much as $220 fines. In contrast, the Lamborghini he was driving reportedly costs upwards of $175,000.

He's not over. His next album will sell just as many copies. Its funny all i hear on forums and by people is how much 50 cent sucks. Then its all I hear everywhere.

God Know I would love 50 cent to be over. But its not going to happen.

And why is it when we get pulled over. Its just a mistake or no big deal. But if a celebrity gets pulled
over. he is trying to change his image. Lol

In my point of view 50 cent is the one that started the whole gangsta rap shit , or the one that really made it famous and I dont think he's going down that fast. Plus the little track "The Bomb" was a real real improvement from him so im sure he has a surprise packed.

There's a easy explanation here. He was crusing in his whip you know listening to some invincible-lyricist then all of sudden he had a feeling from his stomach downwards. Being on the street in Midtown Manhattan he had to find a restroom. The only quick way was speeding and eventually got pulled over. He obviously shitted in his pants and used his insurance as toliet paper.
