Problem Guys ...

Lately I've had no motivation to write.
And i really wanna start writing.
Like for example i wanted to write part 2 of "My Life" But i just had no inspiration and i couldnt be fucked writing anything and thinking of rhymes etc etc.

Or for another example like the hazard battle, i really couldnt be fucked taking the whole battle seriously so i jacked his style and fucked around with it.

I've also tried just forcing myself to write, but it comes out like stupid sensless garbage.

SO my question is, has this ever happened to any of you guys?
I feel really down.
If this HAS happened to you, what did you do to get out of the slump?

Yeah it's Been Happening To Me For Nearly a Year Now, Sometimes ill Feel Like Writing Though.

dood you need to smoke....or drink..just try to let all this depression outta you, i wrote something saying i dont have anything to write lol

You need more inspiration or motivation.. you need to get off the lap top and not force shit
take a break or something. that's what i did, i took a few days off and now things aren't coming any
smoother hehe

for a while i was very careless.. but coming back to illinois got my motivation up and i had support from my fam

most of the time i get writers block.. its like a disease for me .. i've managed to battle with it but it usually ends up being garbage, wat i do is watch something that makes me wanna rap shyt that gets me hype.. like battles.. or the 8 mile movie lol, even listening to a dope ass beat gets me motivated enough to wanna write

i dont know if n e of that would help but u gotta find somethin that'll get u in the mood

Writers block. Happens to everyone. Keep writing, and writing an writing. Everyone says my poems are good, I went through a stage where they were absolute shit and barely made sense, I kept writing and eventually it clicked again.

no real sureshot method of getting over writers block, what typically has worked for me is listening to rappers i view as great writers & hearing alotta dope lines'll inspire a train of thought to something on a similar concept or a play on words from a word i hear

i dont suffer from writers block persay....i either feel like writing....or i dont...but usually....i feel like writing...and i already kinda got a head start in my head...but then im too lazy to actually write it...lol...but i dont end up not knowing wat to write wen i try to...it comes to me within a minute or so...my mood determines the way i spit the lyrics and how i structure my flow and wat not....

easiest thing to really do alotta people have already posted...Listenin to an artist u really like n wat not...is one of da best ways....or watching some battles er some shit might work as well

not really mental experiences are rarely permanant unless they're really traumatic

its all just tricking yourself, if you think weed makes you creative smoking weed will bring out your "creative" side but you're just tricking yourself and triggering a false instinct you won't be making anything more creative, if you have to rely on drugs to fuel creativity chances are you never really had creativity to begin with you're just fooling yourself into thinking you're more creative than you are

thc/alcohol aren't even that really stimulating mentally, hallucinagens will put your brain on overdrive thc/alcohol have more of a sedative effect and are more effective to prevent thinking too much as opposed to not thinking enough
