Chicago author and DJ Meta Smith inks deal with G-Unit Books

Meta Smith, author of the blockbuster novels "The Rolexxx Club" (Warner Books, July 2006) and "Queen of Miami" (Warner Books, March 2007) is the latest author to sign with entrepreneur, multi-platinum selling rapper, and New York Times Bestselling author 50 Cent's G-Unit Books.


Dubbed the "Queen of Bling Fiction", Smith was selected to write for G-Unit for her sophisticated voice and cinematic depictions of urban life. The versatile and dynamic author has penned a riveting street novel, a gripping psychological thriller, and a steamy erotica novella in the span of her short year on the literary scene. The former model, who has appeared in over a dozen hip-hop and R&B music videos, is also a popular DJ who spins at the most exclusive nightclubs in Chicago.
