But any cum lines, da-feet/defeat, beef/cow/cattle (just coz it rhymes with battle), death/deaf, sport with a thesaurus/play with words, pee on the deck/champ-pee-on-ship (championship), scales/weigh with words, Domino nameplays...theres plenty more, but thats all the played ass punches I can list at this time lol...

if you look at my pieces i use creative concepts i don't make simple references, and i try to make every single line relevant to a person that i'm battling

this isn't worded good at all, its a simple play on words and the ending doesn't have much relevance to the rest of the bar, (it has relevance to the birth control but it just looks like you put that at the end to rhyme, it's just unneccessary)

really simple reference, theirs no thinking to the line, its just a simple easy to get reference

The fact is a junky showing off his tracks has more potential than your verse to impress.
the junky/tracks line should've been rewarded alot better, you could've actually used wordplay and said "i've seen junky's with more impressive tracks than yours"


overall the verse wasn't solid, it lacked a rhythm and nothing in it was really personal, solo's an easy name to play off of

you have decent concepts you just don't word them right, most of your bars were just real simple references i'll (insert verb) (insert comparison word) (insert reference)

or... you're (insert adjective) (insert comparison word) (insert reference)

you need to be more creative and use wordplay and actually write bars that are hardhitting and relevant to the person you're battling, you could at least use more recent references if you want to continue to write with simplistic lines basically you need to use more creativity when you're writing... your references are strait out, you're (insert verb) than (insert reference), unless you step up your wordplay and start getting creative with punchlines you're going to continue to lose to mediocre verses from people if they have decent wordplay and punchlines

the nameplay isn't the same, you can't downplay a persons verse because they used name play against you that was similar to something you've heard before, cause thats limiting a good bit of personals, anyone that battles alot is going to see wordplay concepts against them that people have used before

now if they use something that someone else on the same site used against you recently thats a different story, but you can't pull bullshit like that and say nobody can use nameplay against you cause you've heard a bunch of it, this is the net nameplay is obviously going to be a big aspect of a persons personals because very few of us no much personal information about others

I see exactly what you're saying Killah, and I like how you broke down my verse. It makes alot of sense when you put it that way. I should of written things different, but I wanted to get done quick. Not trying to make excuses, I just viewed...his bars were less creative than mine. But thats me.

And I really wish some of these people who vote and write here are more simplistic, and thats why I try not to get into more of the deep shit that you do Killah...because the only people that will really read and comment are people like me...16...Comp...and such. Others act like they understand, but are just saying what someone else did.

oh and the penning line, I was meaning that in the first place...I just couldn't figure out how to tie it in, so yeah it was forced.

No its not, but when people try to make it seem like that line is hot, or good, or just one of the best...or even clever...Its just not. Most people who have written understand this, like what you said Precise, but other people who apparently don't listen to lyrics on cds and don't read other battles, or this is their first experience...come in and think its awsome.
