i believe that somethin greater than anyone could explain, created the sun, the planets, the stars, the air we breath, humans themselves and everything else in the universe, but im not statin a specific thing or person i believe in.... who knows what really happens or what really happened, no you, not me, not anybody.....thats my feelins and IMO type-o does have a point, religion and government go hand in hand together. hate me quick for statin that i may be an athiest, but nah im jussa patriot, of my own feelins, emotions, beliefs got somethin to say jus save it kid....

whats wrong about your argument is you're referring to the bible as a history book that accurately describes a time period when its obviously not, how can something accurately record the beginning of time when it was recorded thousands of years later, this is why the pope and many other respected religious leaders have said the bible isn't meant to be taken literal the storys are more like fables than anything

how does a belief in religion not involve being naive? there is no proof of religion, religions didn't exist until many thousands of years after human existance did, religions are used to control the population all societys have used it going back to the egyptians and sumerians, without religion people would have had more of a mind of their own and that isn't good for a society that wants compllete control and obedience, believing in a religion is like believing in santa clause

how do i know so much about it? i've studied ancient cultures and ancient christianity when i was a teenager, what do i know thats false? those 2 examples i've never mentioned, but ask any religious scholar and they will tell you that christmas has little to do with jesus because its not an accurate date and most of the "christmas" celebrations are stolen from paegan beliefs

when have i said i know things abouot every religion? obviously i don't thats why i've asked people to list their religion, and everyone has been christian so why would i mention other religions when they don't apply?

and i wouldn't say the majority of religions are "lies" they're just fables they have a good purpose but they shouldn't be taken literally, because when idiots take something completely literal they become ignorant to anybody that believes something else, if the entire world was completely accepting of religious diversity their would be little to no conflicts, but because most societys are built around laws derived from the majority of the populations religion it will never be accepting so their will always be conflicts because they don't understand each other

that their is an afterlife? they don't know that, there is absolutely no proof in that, when your brain dies you quit thinking, so an afterlife is impossible

they don't know as much about chrisitianity as i do so how am i the one thats being naive, they believe in a higher force, so do i, we just have completely different views of what the higher force is, neither of us have evidence of whos right, so i realize this they don't they try to convert people to think like they do and deny the fact that any other religion has a completely equal chance of being right because no religion has existed since the beginning of human existance, and every religion was created from mortal beings just like them
