Now Imagine, a time, a place and a spot
where Peace, Friendship, and Life didn't cost a whole lot
we live in a town where hopes and aspirations
are told as jokes and most dreams have been assassinated
we don't walk on egg shells, they'd only crack
we stab our feet with broken glass on the pavement
it's just one of those places if you left you wouldn't come back
it's one of those areas that looks better on a map
when I was growing up, I saw it with childish eyes
I thought it was beautiful, now I wish it would just die
I only have a few close ones, and I hold them real tight
because honestly, without them I wouldn't want to live this life.
