I am not so big headed that I can't admit when I have made a promise I didn't keep. You have my apologies, sir.


For anyone that doesn't know, Scott James was the winner of a text tournament I hosted eariler this year. I put up $100 of my own money as a prize for the winner. As I said, Scott James was this winner. Regardless of whatever personals may come at me in battles, or any other comments made about my character for this, I will admit when I am wrong.

Scott, I am wrong for not contacting you about this sooner. I have had alot of personal stuff going on, and while some might not see that as an excuse, these are probably people that still live at home with their parents or are in much better standing when it comes to their financial stability. I don't live with my mom or dad or both, I don't have anything handed to me on a silver platter, and I don't have anyone that takes care of me except for ME. I should have, however, contacted you about this much sooner and let you know personally about my situation. For that, I apologize. I also apologize for not being able to get the money to you in the time frame I told you. I apologize as well for giving you the impression that I'm not a man of my word, possibly the impression that I'm a piece of shit, and more importantly, for probably making you think I don't respect you or think you deserve the money. You do deserve it. You won the tourney. That was the prize for being the winner. For all these things and more, I apologize.

Scott, my word is that you will get the money that is rightly yours. You don't have to believe that, as I've given you plenty of reason not to, but I WILL get that money to you. I feel shitty about this, and I couldn't tell you how many times I have thought about it, but have been at work or taking care of other things when I did think about it. Honestly, I don't feel like I can apologize enough, but I do feel I can correct the situation as far as how you probably feel about me right now, and that is something I hope to achieve. I have always thought of you to be a great writer, always wondered why you never picked up a mic, always was curious to know why you never have tried to take your writing capabilites to another level so you could be heard, or at least read. You earned that prize, and you will get it.

That's my word.
