How'd I get myself into this? The man next to me stops suddenly
We were laughing half a second ago now ive got blood on me
Right in front of me holes of light bust through the hummer V
Then thunder rings and almost instantly the roof is under me
Cut my buckle heave and land with a thud he doesn't need it freed his hand of a gun
Try to stand but I'm numb to get oriented I scoot my back to the truck
For a moment overly groping me checking for schrapnel and such
I can't hear a thing sucking wind feeling like I've been stabbed in the lungs
I'm scared but damn giving up "there!" In the window west of me
Quick as I could I swiveled left and squeezed two 3 round bursts I hit his chest I think
Then all in a flash I'm stunned by what felt like a hammer to small of my back
And just as I lay there defeated praying please Jesus halt the attack
I felt a hand on my crooked shoulder and heard "snap out of it understood soldier"
And was sobered by the words but no one was there when I looked over
I arose with such an explosive gust and all my senses opened up
*scope* and *bust* I screamed "you ain't the only ones can blow shit up!"
I pulled the pin and shoulda grinned when I saw him see me cooking it
But took it in and threw as good as any major leaguer coulda did
A madman I shot til I emptied my last mag and my side ARM was my only piece
A bullet goes through my mind in a blink, at least all this fighting wasn't for nothing ......finally......peace





its my hour of flame..

follow as directed...in the name of power and gain, just respect it,
those with victory wrote this History so what are we left with?
a collectively pushed perspective! With the fate of men decided
from different views collided, the so called "Honor" they've died with..
God and the devil as well between heaven and hell..
The saddest stories? we remembere em well n have several to tell!
its outragous, the risks we humans wager...dancing with our haters
going back centuries, with violence implanted in our nature
A mission of death for our enemies is whats truely envisioned
Adding hidden pages to the dictionary of our country's definition..
But the battle goes on.. in the world, and on the streets,
with our girls, in the sheets, in our minds as we speak
it makes us strong, makes us weak, rich or poor, cold or heat..
The only way to find a winner is to witness someone in defeat
some hell with oneself..conflicts that define the parts with in
a light that only in the darkness can shine in the hearts of men
The chaos and the turmoil just to burn oil? nah that just masks it out
It's all on us we honestly just look for something to clash about..
We fight everyday for something we stand for.. its what we gravitate
back to hate..the acts we take to have that tragic fate
to either crash or break.. what Men and women are together willin
to defend what we were never given..a so called better livin..

I was impressed by Leeroi Green's verse, but Arvs blew me away.

This was nice! Leeroi pretty much told the story,which was very descriptive using flashback imagery and nice wordplay with the rhymes. Good shit! Arvincible summed up everything Leeroi said but in a broader sense relating more to the world and how we all see it, or should. Good content and flow! Diggin both.
