HIPHOP VS RAP

Post by Enlightend »

This was from me and 32Neilz topical

8 bars on HIPHOP VS RAP

a battle.. teammates over time there friendship diminished and we are all witnesses
as they begin to fight to the bitter end no...... before they can finish it...

i step between and scream stop...

i know y'all came for a beef but boys refuse why must we always anoint or choose
if y'all must... before ya do i suggest that we go thru a few of the point of views
though it seems lost to us when its tossed up.. what side of the coins the truth
its quite confusing on one side its all about the beat that lyrics are fused with
lies... hip hop's a movement rap's a music.. where as u have to be hip hop just to do it
now with that in line i believe its hip hop that determines how we react ta rhymes
and is that in fact what impacts the mind.. but would hip hop die with raps decline
was it rap that embraced that hip hop taste.. big chains graffiti DJ's and street clothes
then behold it took hold of people and spilled over to rock stars, punks, and emo's

or shall we let the past cast some light...

although rap was thought a "rappers" plight.. u all know Blondie sang rapture right?
so have we watched an epic clash of might a rally between our passion... rap and life
i believe that despite the fact that hip hop and rap have got that axe to grind
as a mass we might have come to an impasse tonight and should let our separate paths decide...

Dope shit, bruh. Definately worth a second read. TOYH pretty much summed it up.

Pretty refreshing to picture an actual fight rather than a slow story.
i know y'all came for a beef but boys refuse why must we always anoint or choose

By this point I was kinda waiting to see better rhyme schemes. You started off pretty smoothly.
now with that in line i believe its hip hop that determines how we react ta rhymes
and is that in fact what impacts the mind.. but would hip hop die with raps decline
was it rap that embraced that hip hop taste.. big chains graffiti DJ's and street clothes
then behold it took hold of people and spilled over to rock stars, punks, and emo's
Ok ok, not bad, kinda playing the mediater rather than letting both sides of the fight express their views which i thought was going to happen, seeing as you interrupted the fight.
or shall we let the past cast some light...

although rap was thought a "rappers" plight.. u all know Blondie sang rapture right?
so have we watched an epic clash of might a rally between our passion... rap and life

damn, that's whats up with the rhyme scheme man. I liked this, would have liked to see 32 drop as well. But all together not a bad piece. I expected the drop to be more of a fight, but it wasn't bad as it stands.

Other than that props on how you followed through on the topic, feels like you navigated it with ease.
