I didn't talk about programs in this video. There are a few options. Most professional recording studios use Pro Tools, but Pro Tools requires digidesign hardware, meaning you can't get it online for free.
There are many alternatives that work just as well though. Steinberg Nuendo, I think cubase can also be used for mixing but I'm not sure...
The program I started out with and the program that I advise you all to start out with until you get some experience and learn how to use Equalizers, Compressors, Reverbs, Etc. is adobe audition (formerly known as cool edit pro)
it has a fairly user-friendly interface, so it isn't too difficult to learn
