Lifes a book, im just trying to tell a story
& i hope you all read it
love, i really think i need it
& money, like who dont want to be rich
i feel like a star in the making
but as of right now, i got some complications
in the game of life, with all of these regulations
i cant take this shit, i got some constipation
wish i could flush all these feelings away
but everything happens for a reason
its just that feeling of fate
everybody criticizing, im always dealing with hate
so me & the devil had a date, but i had to cut it short
life is a movie & im just trying to play my part
im my own director
life's a bitch but we all got to respect her
but fuck the world, even my condom cant protect her
that's tough love, its a tug of war
im pulling & holding on greatness
im hungry for success like damn i can taste it
trying to fix a game that's broken
& i am the maintenance
im the definition of hip hop
climbing these heights, im at the tip top
on the road of life, but i had to take a pit stop
