Mo' Money Mo' Cash

Post by Audible Thought »

i got the dollar on my mind and my mind on the dollar
with a goal i suppose to be richer than carter
i got a, plan but it gets delayed
because i got a bunch of trouble headin straight my way
when you trying to get paid, its hard to do good
cuz the wage's at work gives me burgers to cook
i want the steak tho, mashed potatoes
chives on the top, i wanna watch the gravy flow
i gotta make the dough but it takes a toll
on your body and your soul its like a shotty to the dome
its the reason im not home, the reason im alone
its the reason why im bleeding all over the song
but dont get me wrong, i am writing from the heart
no amount of money will ever tear me from the art
remember the start whenever i get to the end
cuz im loyal guy and the struggle is my best friend

when the day never seems to end this is what i think (Mo' Money Mo' Cash)
when im pissed at work man this is what i think (Mo' Money Mo' Cash)
when you never see me around im out grindin for (Mo' Money Mo' Cash)
cuz im a businessman and the business motto is (Mo' Money Mo' Cash)

im the entrepeneur that has a way with words
got so many ideas don't have one to prefer
over the other, which one would work
is what i contemplate when im chillin on the curb
with the homies, burn a spliff then call me
if you know something that might get us homie
to another level far past this passive nature
stay aggresive in the game is what will get me paper
i make my own way thru this crazy maze
buy a chainsaw make a hole in the great wall
trend setter with an aim to be not y'all
im not hatin i was just tought to stand tall
this is a man talking who will never ever crawl
im not perfect i will say that it is my fault
if something goes wrong but i know its not
get rich or die trying never stop til the mic drops
"Until we're all free fuck the world pass the weed, life ain't what it seems y'all we chasin fantasies"-Lastchild [R.I.P]

hmmmm. verse one outshines verse two. but the topic of this is hard for me to get into. at the same time this piece makes point to the fact that money makes the world go round. as far as rhyme scheme goes i felt there was some nice transitions in there. a few dope multies. overall this isnt my style but i thought you got your point across while staying on topic. nice drop bro. keep dropin ill keep feedin.

when you trying to get paid, its hard to do good
cuz the wage's at work gives me burgers to cook
i want the steak tho, mashed potatoes
chives on the top, i wanna watch the gravy flow---- favorite lines. that potatoe shit is great dude. lol
We must always and forever have hip-hops best interest at heart. We must allow ourselves to be critical of the music and culture so that ideas and beliefs that aren’t progressive can be eliminated and made unattractive to our youth. Our allegiance to Hip Hop has to be about more than romanticized ideas of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem. Instead our allegiances must be rooted in what we individually and collectively determine beneficial. The story of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem doesn’t end well. We’ve got proof. Doing what one believes is individually and collectively beneficial may allow for a better ending. Or better yet, no ending at all.
