honestly.... i tried to find a more mainstream sound here. not too sure what to think about it. its probly my 1st decent attempt at this style.
We must always and forever have hip-hops best interest at heart. We must allow ourselves to be critical of the music and culture so that ideas and beliefs that aren’t progressive can be eliminated and made unattractive to our youth. Our allegiance to Hip Hop has to be about more than romanticized ideas of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem. Instead our allegiances must be rooted in what we individually and collectively determine beneficial. The story of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem doesn’t end well. We’ve got proof. Doing what one believes is individually and collectively beneficial may allow for a better ending. Or better yet, no ending at all.

Alright, I can feel this. I think a few more change ups here and there would improve it though, as it does start to get boring, but I did like the subtle change up around the 1 minute mark.

Re: simplified
I'm using FruityLoops. As far as I know it doesn't open Reason files (.rfl), but I can check to make sure. But I'd be down with doing an instrumental collaboration. I'm not really sure how that works, would u make the framework of a beat and I add some layers to it? Or would u make a verse and I make a verse? Or how would that work exactly? I'm down with giving it a shot though...

I don't think FL opens reason files. Its a good beat, nice panning on the (effect high hats?) Sound like some good rhythmic use. Just volume increase. A tad low on the base as well. Should i assume your using reason? and a all out beat callabo would be fun as hell, might sound terrible, but it'd be fun lol

Re: simplified
ya the only way to open an rfl. file with fl studio is to rewire the two programs and in my experience its a pain in the ass. maybe my cpu just cant handle running them both at once. a ful out collab would be fun. anyone that is interested let me know. im not sure how wed go about it but im up for the challenge. thanx for the feed guys.
