The likes me/bites me/wife me punch is explained in the link...in his battle with Most Interesting,Pied says that he'd wife me.In my previous verse,I proved that he bit my "I'll be/aL-b" punch in my battle with you,Riggz.So he knows I spit fire,that's why he likes me and he bites me,plus he's gay cuz he wants to wife me.Get it? And all of these punches are drawn from things that he actually did,which are the worst kind of missteps in hiphop.Being a BITER and being GAY are the worst things to be in the hardcore undaground hiphop scene.Just to make it clear? I have no prob with gay or lesbian or tranny folks.I just used that material as punches.Now a "LUCIE" is (in this case) weed,as many joints are shaped like "L"s due to a conjoining of two wrappers that have a bend at the bottom.When you're asking for weed but don't want the nerds around you to know that's what you're asking for,you substitute the word LUCIE for it.It's also where the slang term "L" has its old skool roots in.

The ref to my avy was a flip on Pied's attempt to say he'd KO me fast like the dude on my avy when my pic on my avy is ACTUALLY ME showing a martial arts technique called ALTERNATING MACES on another guy.I'M THE ONE DELIVERING THE K.O. BLOW,lol,and he didn't know it! So his referencing my K.O. punch is really pointing out that I HAVE THE KO BLOW/DETH STRYQUE and it's just another thing of mine that he bit...like my bar against you.

Flow: Pied (by a little bit)- In the first round I'd say the flow was actually pretty close to tied, but Deth's flow fell off too often in the second round while Pied remained more consistent. Both had some pretty solid use of multis, which helped the flow for both.

Personals: Pied- In both rounds pretty much all of Pied's lines were aimed right at Deth. Deth aimed at Pied most of the time too, but not as consistent with it, especially at the end of the second round, seemed to run out of things to say about Pied. Also, it seems like when flippin' what someone else is saying, it's important for it to still feel like the bar is on the offensive, if not done quite right the flippin' can come off as too much on defense which makes the punch to it weaken.

Punches: Pied- I'd say both verses actually had a lot of solid punches, but a theme I noticed from this is that in every category it seems like Pied remained real consistent. Some of Pied's punches were real solid, while others could've been improved on with a bit of rewording, but pretty much every bar had at least some punch behind it. Deth had some good punches in there, the best of Deth's punches and the best of Pied's punches might be pretty close, but Pied stayed much more consistent with it.


Overall: Pied- If Deth's round 2 verse had stayed more consistent with the punches and personals this would have been a pretty close battle imo. I thought Deth's first round verse was much better than the second round one. Both of Pied's verses were high caliber, consistent, and I felt his use of nameplay also had some real creativity within it.
