I understand the whole free posting thing but what the hell are we suppose to do when our open battles drop to the bottom of the list and start getting lost... New battles pop up and 3-4-5 days go pass and no votes so we up it and now we are getting warnings on uppin for votes....
I don't think it's cool that we are getting these warnings after 4 days of inactivity in our threads...
My question is this: What are we suppose to? Also, I think the mods should vote too to keep the traffic in the forums moving bcuz that's suppose to be your jobs IMO.....

Last time I checked, I vote on more than my share of abttles, but I can only speak for myself on that one...
If theres a battle you feel needs votes, then let it be known in the shoutbox. As far as the voting goes, some days are better than others. You might be able to close out an entire battle in one day, while other times it might take a little while. In all honesty though, I think having a little more patience with everyone is the best solution to this, but once again, thats my opinion.
Some days are better than others as I've seen since I've been active but I've also seen battles open on say a Monday and Friday it's still opened but a battle that opened on Wednesday is closed by the same Friday and 5 more battles went up... 5 battles is at least 6 other ppl (some ppl take multiple battles) and they don't all vote... Or they vote on popular battles where they know ppl...
I think the rules should change...
I think it should be you have to vote on all open battles if you haven't already voted on it before you battle...
Bcuz you want your battle voted on so why not vote on the ones that are up...
That way we will have more battles closing asap...

speaking only for myself but i have no problem when people up for votes when a battle hasn't gotten any attention for awhile and as kau said spamming the shoutbox usually works (even though i couldn't get any votes on my last round in the tag tourney that way) & it isn't the mods resposibility to vote but some do, active battlers should be the ones voting on each others battles that way the systems cyclical

there's like 15 mods on this site... I'm pretty sure they can vote to to properly end all battles.... No, it's not the mods responsibilty but why are you here?? I know is not just to run the site... I'm pretty sure most if not all started here just like me.. Battling and droppin verses that you wanted to be seen and voted on...
No battle should have to be closed up due to no votes... Just doesn't seem right to me... I'm just sayin....

ER I'm obviously not here to battle, many other users aren't also. If this site was strictly for battling, we'd only have the battling section on this site...But I meant the mods of the battle section though. I also should of said IF mods HAD done their job (Not referring to yezzir or murk McNasty).
Since you've joined the site (obviously not because of you) activity has been down a bit.
When it picks up, I think your complaint will be less relevant, for now its quite just.
Some battles are just plain and simple easier to vote on. That needs to be factored into the equation.
The mods have to do a lot. I mean, a lot to keep the battle grounds operating as smooth as they do. If they voted on every battle, then they'd have shortcomings in other areas of their job.
As for the rule. I don't like it either. I'm also not the one who is in charge of that section.
the thing with the battles is that when u have free time go into the shoutbox and post the link to ur battle in there and say "plz vote on my battles and i will vote on yours" or go to other open battles and vote... that will create the flow of others voting on your battles (if their not hatin on your vote lol) thats a tip that is very useful within the site its self... it also applies to writtens poems or audio drops...
