Bad Company 2 > Modern Warfare 2 IMO. For one, Bad Company uses dedicated servers which means you won't have all the retarded ass connection issues that Call of Duty has. The graphics aren't as detailed as Modern Warfare, but they're still damn good. Not to mention, Bad Company 2 has destructible environments. Fuck shooting through a wall, just start blowing the walls out and blast the supports and watch the whole building collapse. The maps are HUGE compared to Call of Duty. COD feels downright claustrophobic. BC2 has vehicles too, which is a huge plus. I'm beginning to hate the killstreak shit in Call of Duty, which makes BC2 that much more appealing since you can actually fly choppers, UAVs, tanks, trucks, 4wheelers, etc. The game feels much more balanced than Call of Duty too. You don't have to worry about them stupid Akimbo shotguns or the ninjas running around knifing everyone. Bad Company does not reward you for camping or staying alive. If you want kills, you have to earn em the hard way, not get 4 or 5 and call in a bunch of shit to do the work for you. It takes a while to level up in BC2, but I think that is more of a plus. Sure, using iron sights blows, but you actually feel like you accomplished something when you unlock a new weapon or equipment. Another thing I like about BC2 is that it heavily stresses teamwork. Lone wolfs don't get far and neither does camping. Gravity affects bullet trajectory over distance, making sniping an actual challenge. I think both games are great, but BC2 really capitalizes on what I like in multiplayer shooters. If you want to play Rambo and run and gun like a maniac, play Call of Duty. If you want to work as a team and incorporate strategy, play Battlefield. They are competitive, somewhat comparable, but also different at the same time. Another plus is that BC2 doesn't seem to cater to the pre-adolescent shitbags screaming into the mics like in Call of Duty. I'd say that COD is like a modern day Halo in terms of gameplay while BC2 is more like Socom.
