Trick Trick last year was releasing his first major label release with MoTown Records Label. The People Vs, and the album was a flop to say the least. Selling under 60,000 copies. Trick Trick was very vocal about his disappointment "They're not a good label for rap". Trick Trick went on to say that they had him competing with Mary. J Blige and Jamie Foxx. With barely any promotion. Accordingly he asked to be let go and was granted his release. He didn't believe how bad his record sales were. He actually sold less then he did independently in the 90s.He went on to say "They jacked it up so bad".Trick Trick, has always made an impact in hip-hop. So getting a deal with G-Unit shouldn't be a great surprise. The Detroit rapper said that the "ink should dry soon". Basically saying he is about signed. He has already almost finished all new material for his next album. Including guest appearances from all the shady/aftermath/gunit family. Including Eminem, Tony Yayo, 50 Cent, and Young Buck. Sprinkle on Ice Cube, Wc, Kid Rock, and Young Jeezy. Add that up with some Dre Production. Some fifty cent promotion. He has reason to be optimystik to say the least. Fifty cent who has never been shy of record sales said "Trick, you're an artist that people gonna listen to because they know what you say is real".Trick Trick, is obviously excited about his new opportunity.
