The silence is painful, I can't take it, anymore;
violation of the faithful, I can't stand it, anymore.
The dreams that I lived by, to cherish in real life,
are shattered, I'm battered, yet I stand up, I stand up.

This world is so lonely, I can't take it, anymore;
people are so phony, I can't stand it, anymore.
The feelings that I lived by, to breathe in my emotions,
dissappeared like, they were just, a fake magic potion.

The quiet is murder, I can't take it, anymore;
lies were told to me, I can't stand it, anymore.
The power that I lived by, to feel strength and get by,
has diminished, it's finished, my cape has come off.

The dark is so grappling, I can't take it, anymore;
betrayed by my whole world, I can't stand it, anymore.
The light that I carried, to see my clear visions,
has burned out, absurd doubt, now rules my mind.

The patience has worn off, I can't take it, anymore;
practically murdered, I can't stand it, anymore.
The life that I once lived, that felt heavenly at one point,
has died there, I lied there, just wondering why.
