i'll be surprised if he does, me and haz were both awarded most likely to shock u in 09, so i'm not fully set on his past of duckin, although he probably wouldn't of dropped if tre waited a few days, since i dont got much quality off this mic..im goin straight for quantity...i gotta say tho.. whoever wins out of me and joel definitely has the upper hand in this tournament

Well if I were to predict a top 3 in the tourny, in no particular order i'd say Tre Tru, Koms and Dynamiq.

But that's the thing...you never know who's going to drop, who's going to no-show. And you never know what to expect. Like Gorilla Mist for example, even though he freestyled his drop, I was suprised that he got off as decent as he did...I was honestly expecting alot worse for some reason.

This tourny has the potential to go any direction. And the sooner that everyone drops, the sooner this tourny moves along. Thats why I thought it was dope to see Gorilla Mist, Dead Silence and Tre Tru drop so early! That's raw shit. Good work ethic and dedication...rushing it isn't necessarily the best techique, but who's to say they rushed? lol

I hope to see some of these other guys drop early as well. Either way...the clock is ticking.

i might drop tomorrow but i think im gonna kill some time..the advantage of going second isn't that u can flip... but that u can try and outdo ur opponent.. i know its said to always give it ur all..but sometimes its not worth it, i know this guy probably has more than one thing goin on especially being at like 20 different forums lol, so im not entirely expecting him to drop soon, im just now about finishing up, but that's only cuz i stretched it out to be 64 bars, didn't think my first official solo to be released would be a battle lol

Haz, if you have the soundfiles...I may be able to line your hooks up for you if you can tell me which point they come into the song. But you need the seperate soundfiles in a zipped folder in order for me to do it.

And u can simply e-mail the track to me, I'll post it.

haha well like i said i figure quality should beat quantity..
and dont worry ekoms..if i go against you i'll make sure i drop at least 2 16's plus...haha
anyway i had a brutal weekend i recorded 3 other tracks beside this one
and i already recorded the hook so i just did a quick sixteen and sealed it up...ya'll makin me think i should write another verse..infact i will after work today...

It's a battle. So long as it fits the listed criteria (which yours did) then you have nuthin to worry about. lol

I don't see any reason why not. So long as you get it up there before he drops then it's still fair game.
