We pick our loves like flowers, but does that do them any good?
To be pulled from the roots, and in our hands they lie gasping
For air and for life in which we took so selfish

but never understood... So did that do them any good?

We never know how far the ripples of our actions flow,
A kiss is a touch of lips but our hearts may never connect
So what are our motives, is it unconscious as we move?

Then we love with no direction, taking blind leaps reaching out
Hoping things will go our way, that another's leap will be a landing
Into our own palms, because its all a correlation...somehow...
Still...its never understood, so is love even any good?
