Celph Titled & Buckwild reunite for another ground breaking project. Nineteen Ninety Now (which will be available to purchase on October 26th) will bring you back to another time in hip hop.
The collaboration of acclaimed lyricist Celph Titled and world renowned producer Buckwild has a very interesting twist. All of the beats used on the album were put together in 1994-1995 (great years for hip hop), but were never recorded to. Around the same time period that he produced most of the underground classic from O.C. Word…Life.
It makes you wonder what other producers have gems left over from previous work that is wasting away on a shelf somewhere.
Buckwild has worked with many artists over the last two decades since those beats were originally created, Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, Immortal Technique, Kool G Rap, Nas, and Jay-Z to name a few.
Nineteen Ninety Now will be chalked full of guest appearances from notorious underground hip hop heads such as Chino XL, Vinnie Paz, The Rugged Man, Demigodz (Apathy, Ryu, Esoteric), and many more. The album will be dropping exclusively on No Sleeping Records.
Though the song Nothing To Say that features Rise is not on the album. It will give you a good idea of what to expect when you finally get this album on October 26th, 2010.
