Crown Heights very own Skyzoo & Jersey’s !llmind gets a few familiar faces to stop by in the studio and do a little remix of their lead single “Speakers On Blast” — everybody’s favorite punchline guerilla Lloyd Banks, and fellow hometown teammate Maino.
Last month Skyzoo & !llmind released Live From The Tape Deck, they recorded the album at Big China Studios out in BK. This album is different than Skyzoo’s debut album The Salvation, there aren’t any deep undertones or personal records. The album is a collection of raw hip hop with a cohesive backdrop.
With this project, the two artists have planned to bring what hip hop veterans such as Eric B. & Rakim, Gang Starr, EPMD, NWA and A Tribe Called Quest brought by having one producer with one sound and one theme. But, Live from the Tape Deck does not sound like hip hop in the 1990s, so kick on back and check the RE-mix. Support real hip hop.
