It’s been four years since Proof passed away, I still remember the day perfectly, I was watching CNN and at the bottom of the screen in the scrolling ticker, it said, “rapper Proof has been fatally shot.” I came online, and it seemed as though everybody on the internet was talking about the situation. You wonder, if any of them listened to his music before, in the annals of hip hop, he might go down as Eminem’s best friend, but he was an unbelievably charismatic character that would have almost certainly reached more success on his own: if this tragedy wouldn’t have occurred.
