Joel Tobia apparently was going to sue Jarule for not paying him for fixing an 8000 dollar leak on his house. Scared for his family’s life he has dropped the charges.
“People are asking me, do you know what you are doing?†Tobia told a New Jersey judge. “I have two children. I am concerned. I hope you are reading between the lines.â€Â

Ja Rule failed to show up for his first court appearance in this matter.
Now the charges have been completely dropped.
Ja Rule has a history of violence. Recently being caught with an illegal possession of a firearm.
