The first single (Lollipop) off “Tha Carter III” smashed many internet downloading records, Lil Wayne ringtones were huge sellers and the song stayed at the top of the billboards for over a month.
On July 14th, Tha Carter III was certified 2x Platinum in under a month of it’s release.
