It seems as if 50′s turned over a new leaf. In an interview with 1515, the rapper says that for his next project, he’s willing to work with talented artists—including Kanye West.
The breaking news may not come as a complete surprise after his last album Before I Self Destruct did less than stellar numbers. Though still selling many more than most mainstream artists. Ever since 50 Cent’s highly publicized sales war with Kanye West (it should be noted that it was preplanned), 50’s album sales have been falling steadily.
He still remains a dominant force in the hip hop community with his influential website “thisis50.com”, G Unit Clothing, and many popular mixtapes that he’s put out for free on the internet.
“I sat with Swizz [Beatz]; I’mma try to get in with him. Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.â€
