Joe Budden knows how to elevate his game for a particular song; that is the case for this song.
He brings his A game with tightly written punches and similes. It’s not really a play off the movie, just samples the film score.
For some reason, the song (produced by Dark Night Music) is not going to be appearing on Mood Muzik 4, Budden’s highly anticipated mixtape that is due out soon.
With the next Slaughterhouse album in the works as well as the follow up to Padded Room which is tentatively titled The Great Escape, Budden is keeping himself busy, and in the spotlight at the same time.
