Finally, some fresh news about Eminem’s upcoming album, the title has been changed from the original Relapse 2 to a slightly more exciting Recovery. The better news, for Eminem fans, is that album is going to be released on June 22nd, with a single slated for next month.

“There is no Relapse 2,” Eminem wrote on Twitter in the wee hours of this morning, effectively putting to rest any chance that the promised sequel to his 2009 comeback album Relapse will be released in the near future — if ever. The rapper didn’t indicate whether another fresh album would replace the disc or if he’s simply scrapped plans for a new LP entirely. However, as Rolling Stone previously reported, Slim Shady tweeted last month, “Don’t worry. Some big news is coming. Soon,” so it’s still likely Eminem has something brewing.
