in a general sense? i myself am a liberal/libertarian i know 8th is a conservative, and suprisingly we agree on more issues than we disagree, i think complexity shares similar views to mine

well, you pretty much already covered everybody on here that would respond. ha.
I'm an independent conservative. I despise both parties, as they are both part of the elite ruling class that could not possibly give a fuck less about us.
I'm all about personal responsibility, self reliance, small government, low taxes, and strong defense.
I tend to lean more libertarian on alot of social issues. I am very fiscally conservative however.
meh, again, prolly wasting my breath, cause you and plex are really the only people that ever participate in these discussions.

I'm an independent.
Liberal as can be on most social issues.
More conservative on fiscal issues, but not bound to the limits of a true conservative.
If you tell me that principal dictates all your political views, I say, that is why we have a multiple party system because we would be fucked if that were always the case.
I think, we have an obligation to the world as a superpower. That can even mean war and limited-smart aid, if it's done responsibly and justly.
We're mislead on a regular basis from politicians and should be more involved with politics than we are. We rarely hold them accountable.
Regulating industries can be a powerful tool because of the amount of greed in corporations. I do think, we over regulate to much as well.
I don't believe that government is the answer to everything, but it can be an a small part of the answer. Imagine a more successful "No Child Left Behind", who would really be complaining?
As for civil liberties, I'm pretty extreme on them. As much as "wire tapping" and programs such as "Fisa" could help us fight terror. It's a thin line.
The second amendment is over hyped. Why are we more strict about alcohol than we are guns? I'm not saying ban guns. Things like not being able to own a gun after you're a felon have been successful, right? A few more restrictions like that wouldn't hurt.
Taxes should be completely reformed. You should able to know where your tax money is going. The idea that I'm paying for a "Bridge to Nowhere" instead of my computer bill is completely retarded. Taxes should be low across the board and if that means taking a hit to entitlement programs, I would accept that. If people saved and invested more than they splurged (that is where self-reliance comes into play like 8th). They would have money after they retire. Everyone with a job on this forum could save 10 dollars a day. In 30 years that is "109500" before interest. Now, think about actually saving 100 a week "156000". That being said, I wouldn't abolish entitlement programs. If cuts are necessary, I am willing to do it.
I've never been a fan of national health or anything of that nature. If Americans want it and congress ends up passing it. The least, we could do as with many issues is hold them accountable.
Illegal immigration is a facade. The crimes they commit aren't even close to the scale on any sort of average as Americans. Personally, if my (hypothetically speaking) "son" was ran over by a drunk driver. I don't give a fuck if he is a china man from the UK with a mexican accent or Joe the college professor from down the road. Of course, you could make the argument, he wouldn't be here, if (the borders were secure 10 years ago?) and your son wouldn't have died. Statistically that would be inaccurate and only true in my particular case though. We should try to stop more people from coming in and embrace the ones we got. Be thankful, they want to be here and give them the opportunity. We're not a nation of laws as much as a nation of law breakers. Obviously, having a green card, a license, or a birth certificate doesn't change that. I have a proposal to the conservatives. Instead of kicking out the Mexicans, lets throw out the pedophiles.
If getting off oil was a national priority by Americans and government. The discussion about Global Warming would be much more enjoyable.

When i Said i Was Gnna Be 18 Soon, Because u Mentioned i Was 17, it Was Nothing To Do With Surviving Anarchy Lol.
i Know Big Time Criminals Could Crush Me Man, But That's Nothing To Do With Anything. What i Said Was My Political View Was Anarchist, Then u Overcomplicated What i Said And Turned it into Something Else.
And Let Me Repeat Myself, u Do Not Know Me, Or The People i Know. For All u Know They Could Be The Violent Street Gangs And Criminals u Spoke Of.
