Another Day

I was sitting on the patio, listening to the radio, it was a live show//
u could tell because of the static, and lightly hear a fan estatic//
the rapper was charismatic, spitting like he was semi-automatic//
he had a delivery n a flow to match it, the beat was average//
but he ripped it like a savage, there was a no high pitch//
this kid flipped this and had the niche, i didn't hear a glitch//
he spit about being rich, and finally making it to the alist//
when the dj made the cutz, then he easily switched it up//
and the audience went nutz, you could faintly hear a bus//
as he made the final cuss, something about fuck trust//
i took it subliminally, maybe that how it was meant to be//
eventually the song was over, essentially i got the cold shoulder//
i went back and thought about the lines, he played with my mind//
cuz he was limited to the bind, that we have all designed//
i cant blame the rhymes, or the man that has done it many times//
which made me think of other lies, hints in disguise//
i was surprised, to find, that my eyes were blind//
by forces that weren't devine, nothing in the skys//
but by the demise of society, filled with a variety of anxiety//
as we wait for spring, and the better things//
but that is one thing that life will never bring//
so rap about ur bling, ur rings, being "the king"//
for one day we will be high, not from weed//
but the wings, that we were all born with//
u could tell because of the static, and lightly hear a fan estatic//
