Full Moon

Two lovers sat on the park bench, making out. romantic night; full moon.
:: :: ::
my eyes grew wide; it was happening! as the plot thickens i ran thru alley backends
barefooted n scratched with fragments of sharp rocks, sticks, twigs snappin
followed a passage back into the woodlands before my transformation acted in
into grass clearing swiftly ran stampeding, ligaments bruised now calloused & bleeding
frantically weeping, fell to my knees, clutched the soil with rage & asked for meaning..
with savage eyes, I shouted glancing at the sky:
"Why me?"
hoping the milky full moon would answer my cry. I wished for death, or a new afterlife.
to no avail moon remained silent as night. & began to control the better part of my mind.
by now I was more weaker than before, the same fever that soared last week
before I transformed, I grieved & screamed for sure:
"I dont want to hurt anyone, please no more" !
SUDDENLY. my skin became itchy, hair-sprouted pores & a full-fledged ribcage instantly built me!
my face fidgety, thick veins swelled up & protruded forth, innards churned, knife-like cuticles
body doubled in size & bulk, a wonderful jawline stuck out from my newly acquired skull!
lungs expanded, causing dry heaves & some wet hacking coughs
followed by a staggering pause. then a ringing headache crashed thru my cranium walls.
on the surface now, wuz blood curdling howls bursting of a thirsty lust for crowds
but the transformation pain was too profound, as glass-shattering roars of agonizing sound
echoed thru out the jungle, & I collapsed heavily on the soft, moist ground!
breathing; I knew what would eventually come, nothing can reverse havoc now
last thing I remembered, a pale circle in the sky, then I blacked out…

not knowing that they would soon meet their end by
a werewolf.
