jay did well, you just need to get off buddens dick haz, most of the artists that are bitching @ jay wouldn'tve sold no matter wtf kinda promo they got and without jay being president they wouldn'tve even been released, & i'm a fan most of the dudes bitching its just reality, you wanna see fuck up look @ how def jam handled artists before jay was running it, artists were constantly shelved and nearly every album was pushed back months-years, with jay-z running shit regaurdless of the artists financial success they got a chance to have their music put out on a major label & we got to hear alot of good music we wouldn'tve heard at all if he wasn't president of def jam

all these artists that expected to do huge numbers are just delusional, look at the charts artists aren't selling in general no matter what kinda promo or radio play they get, lupe was on top of the hip hop charts last week and he only sold 20,000 albums

kanye & 50 had major promo, they were literally everywhere and neither of them has even went double plat yet, when 50 cent sells a million in four days last album and does these numbers now with a better album and the same promo, its the industry thats fucked up, not record label's promotion departments
