Cube To Start Tour

One of the first emcees to successfully bridge Hip Hop and Hollywood, Ice Cube goes back to his rapping roots tonight in San Diego, CA as he continues his first tour in six years. In support of his upcoming seventh solo album, Laugh Now, Cry Later (Lench Mob Records), due out June 6, Cube, Tha Dog Pound and Clipse are scheduled to perform at clubs in twenty one American cities.
Cube reportedly plans to dig in the crates and also debut songs like his lead single "Chrome and Paint" and the Scott Storch produced "Why We Thugs." The tour stops tonight in San Diego at 4th & B and ends in Phoenix, AZ May 28 at Marquee Theatre. Cube was recently named the #8 emcee of all time by MTV. He has starred in films such as "Barbershop 1 & 2," and "Are We There Yet," and he co-produced a reality series called ?Black & White? airing on FX, in which a white family and black family are made up and live as the opposite race.
