Lol i Don't Really Understand it But im Trying. is it About Sin?
Because This:
bound by other laws
to the service of the enemies of god
This:
Tie a man to his god
he may not walk for fear
of falling foul to temptation
And This:
I yearn to sell my very soul
(And you shall
for none so dark & sinister,
arise to embrace the Arts)
Do What You Will
until the stones in my heart stand still
regardless of the cost to your repugnant god
And This:
"By your cursings and imprecations
you wrong both Man & beast
by whatever whim you serve
with the Devil as your leige"
All Just Make Me Think About Well, Selling ur Soul To The Devil And Doing Sinful Shit. if it Was Then Yeah it Was a Good Read (Apart From The Fact That i Couldn't Understand Some Parts). Because 'Bound By Other Laws' Could Mean ur Not Bound By The 10 Commandments Or Whatever, Because u Choose To Follow The Devil's Rules instead. 'Tie a Man To His God' Sounds Like The People Who Devote Their Lives To Religion And Never Do Anything That Could Be Considered Sinful, Also The 'Selling The Soul Part' Made it a Bit More Clear To Me.
The Last Part Was Cool, 'u Wrong Man And Beast By Whatever u Do To Serve The Devil', im Guessing That Part Was To Summarize The Whole Thing. Hopefully i Got The Right idea But if u Wrote it The Same Way i Read it Then Sweet. if u Didn't Then i Just Gave it Another Meaning.

You did okay....Its more or less my views on religion, sin, God, etc....You see, I have few piercings and tattoos...and when I ran into an elderly couple and offered to help them put a barbeque into their truck as it clearly weighed more than they could handle....they thanked me but assured me they could manage....as I was walking away, I heard the husband say to the wife, "Look at her....all that metal in her face....I bet you she worhips the Evil one."...NO JOKE...I was like wtf?
Tie a man to his god
he may not walk for fear
of falling foul to temptation
And, if people are going to view me as a "devil worshiper", I may as well write a poem about being one, right?
Renounce the guilt, ignite the flame
cast the fetid virgin back from where she came
drink deep of the promise in my eyes...
of mist and midnight skies

I drown in fathomless dreams
and in the reeking mire of virtue scream
I yearn to sell my very soul
(And you shall
for none so dark & sinister,
arise to embrace the Arts)
Do What You Will
until the stones in my heart stand still
regardless of the cost to your repugnant god
^^ i Liked that part of it
