Ignorance overshadows logic in any argument or interpretation. Things are only as offensive as you allow them to be. Continuing to base our policies in this society to try to appease the extreme minority mindstate on an issue is pointless, its not how a democracy works, the goal is to not offend as many as possible, not to appease the smallest minority at the consequence of offending the majority.
